About & how we work

An independent reference on scaffold couplers, plus a sourcing desk that connects buyers with certified factories.

What this site is

ScaffoldCoupler.com collects, in one place, the information a buyer needs before ordering scaffold couplers and clamps: the types and what each one is for, the standards they are made to (BS 1139, EN 74 Class A and B), the slip and failure loads those standards require, weights and dimensions for freight planning, and the differences between drop-forged and pressed couplers.

The guides are written from published standards, safety-authority guidance and manufacturer test reports, and every figure names its source. Where the market uses different words for the same fitting — double coupler in the UK, right-angle clamp in the US — the guides say so.

How the sourcing desk works

  1. You send a specification through the quote form.
  2. We forward it to one or more forging or casting factories that hold the relevant certificate and export experience.
  3. You receive an FOB range, MOQ and lead time. If you want to proceed, we introduce the factory directly.
  4. You contract, pay and ship with the factory. We are not the seller and do not handle payment or logistics.

How the site is paid

Factories pay ScaffoldCoupler.com a referral fee on orders that close through an introduction made here. The fee is agreed with the factory in advance and is not added to the buyer's price. We do not accept payment for placement in the guides, and no guide recommends a specific factory.
